Britain's national bird, the Robin is a regular and confident bird table visitor and will also hover by a hanging feeder, clinging on to peck at peanuts in cold weather.
It produces two broods between March and June, laying between three and six blotched red-brown eggs. Incubation takes about fourteen days and fledging about fourteen more.
